A mid-career crisis can happen for many reasons. One of the most common is because you might feel “bored” that bored feeling often comes from achieving most of the milestones you set out when you first began your career. In other words, you had a vision in mind for your career way back when. As the years passed, you slowly and systematically achieved those objectives (income level, impact, level of advancement, etc.). So, one day, you wake up to a mid-career crises.  You didn’t get there overnight and it is not necessarily a bad thing so, my suggestion is to…BUY A HARLEY! (career style of course).

People buy Harleys when the have a mid-life crisis. Why a Harley? It is something they have dreamed about for years and represents a re-energizing of their life. In your career, your ‘Harley” could be…going back to school/complete your degree; adding or changing roles and responsibilities, etc.

At a minimum, revisit your vision and life plan and set new objectives for this next stage of our career and your life.
